What is the meaning of 'membersss'?

According to Alvin, in the 70's, Indians in our fair land used to think of each other Indian as if they were part of a community, part of an organisation. Therefore, everyone within their social circle would be referred as a 'member' as a term of affection. Remember back in the 70's, there were still a lotta drunk Indians.
